Ouafa Benkraouda is a doctoral student in Urban and Regional Planning. Her research lies at the intersection of technology, transportation and informality in urban spaces. She is studying Hindi for her project on the informal usage of urban spaces. She studies spaces that have been predominantly claimed by lower-income groups and migrant worker communities in the United Arab Emirates.
